The Y Strainer uses a perforated or mesh screen to trap solid particles as the fluid flows through the system.
🔹Dirty Water Inlet – Fluid enters the strainer with suspended particles
🔹Strainer Screen – The screen traps debris and allows clean fluid to pass
🔹Debris Collection Area – Captured particles settle in the lower chamber
🔹Clean Water Outlet – Filtered fluid continues downstream without interruption
🔹Blowdown/Drain – The collected debris can be removed by opening the drain plug
